LEARNING ABOUT THE SUBJECT PURPOSIVE COMMUNICATION

       In the first class my impression and perception about the subject of purposive communication, I feel that it was a hard and it's challenging for me as a student learners to understand the subject itself in terms of all discussion and activities. More on analyzing, evaluating ideas,
interpretation and argumentation. As time goes by I realized and understand that in this subject can give me additional knowledge on what I knew before and can help me to improve my learning especially my skills of communicating. Through the help of our Teacher, because our Teacher patiently teach as every lesson in a way that we can understand and apply our knowledge in everyday communication.

     Personally have learned a lot from this subject especially in every topic that we discussed such as the proper and true definition of communication, proper use of symbols and how we can share own feelings and emotions whether by the use of verbal and non-verbal communication and it's can help to aim for understanding. Also to have a more effective communication we must learn the communication process is composed of sender, encoding and decoding message, receiver and feedback. Further more, we learned about the Nine(9) principles  of communication which is established by Michael Osborn in the year 2009, everyday we gain knowledge about communication and learned the five(5) ethics of communication which is a guide to make the communication ethical so that the sender and the receiver will have proper and factual conversation and in order to widen our horizon to communicate. There is Globalization and International communication wherein communication is shared through the use of technology to countries who cannot provide it. However, it is affected by cultural barriers and to avoid this one must learn to understand each country's differences, acceptance should be practiced. Also In terms of reporting of our classmates I learned also the topic about the variety and register of spoken and writing language which is on how must better to use and effective by expressing our thoughts, ideas, feeling and emotion for sharing towards the audience. Lastly I learned also about the four(4) main qualities for an effective message: the simplicity, specificity, structure and stickiness.

       The subject Purposive Communication taught me how to use communication efficiently in a way that I can widen my horizon further, advance my knowledge and further understand and  use communication in a proper way.
